The Association of European Deposit Guarantee Schemes and Investor Compensation Schemes (EFDI) and FGD are pleased to welcome you to EFDI 2025 Annual General Meeting and International Conferences that take place in Madrid.
 

The overall Event hosted in the Hotel Riu, located in the heart of Madrid, in Plaza de España, is scheduled from Tuesday 3 till Friday 6 June 2025, with an optional excursion on 7 June 2025.

 

The event starts on Tuesday 3 June afternoon with the Investor Compensation Schemes International Conference, that will delve into the key issues confronting the investors’ insurers, focusing on regulatory challenges and innovations in the industry.
 

This international conference will be followed by a welcome cocktail for all participants.

 

On Wednesday 4 June, EFDI working groups and committees will convene throughout the day. 

 

Thursday 5 June will feature in the morning the 2025 EFDI Annual General Assembly, bringing together all members and affiliates.

 

EFDI International Deposit Guarantee Schemes International Conferences will start on Thursday afternoon and conclude at midday on Friday 6 June. The programme includes four engaging panels, featuring a diverse lineup of distinguished experts, all centered around a main theme:

 

“Embracing the Future on Solid Grounds: Reinforcing Financial Stability”

 

The aim of all these events is to optimize professional exchange of ideas among practitioners and key stakeholders, while fostering an informal and engaging atmosphere between all participants.

 

In addition, during the period, there will be opportunities to experience Spanish culture, including social events such as a Gala Dinner to be held on Thursday 5 June in one of the most cherished buildings for the people of Madrid, two different sightseeing options to the historical center of Madrid (specially suitable for the accompanying persons), and an excursion to Segovia to marvel at its UNESCO World Heritage-listed Roman Aqueduct, explore its stunning architecture, and indulge in delicious local Castilian cuisine.
